Our next workshop will be on Wednesday 11 March and will be on convergence quilts. Please talk to Janice if you are interested.
Then in April we will offer a workshop to be given by Karen Henry, well known quilt artist. Details will be available at our February meeting.
THISTLE QUILT GUILD, Pictou County, Nova Scotia
February meeting and sewing sessions
The next meeting of the Thistle Quilt Guild will be on Wednesday 18 February at 7 pm. Before that, from 1 to 5 pm, there will be a sewing session. Some people will be quilting on our guild quilt, so come and join us! Pot luck supper will be at 5 pm.
The next sewing session will be from 10 am to 4 pm on Wednesday 25 February. This is another chance to come and quilt on our guild quilt.
Please note that if school is cancelled, our meetings and sewing sessions are also cancelled.

January 2015
Welcome to the New Year - full of quilting possibilities!
Our next sewing session will be on Wednesday 14 January 2015. There will be a workshop taking place on that day, which will occupy about 10 tables. Our guild quilt will be going on the frame - so come out and help quilt!
The workshop is for large scale prints and it will be led by Anne Mattie. If you are interested, please contact Anne - there are still a few spaces available.
Our next General meeting will be on Wednesday 21 January at 7 pm. The big attraction at these meetings is always Show and Tell.
There will be another sewing session on Wednesday 28 January. Again, there will be a workshop going on - part two of Anne's workshop.

No Sewing Week
This is our guild's quiet week, with no sewing session. So everyone has time to work on their projects, ready to bring to our Christmas meeting.
Our December meeting is one week early, on Wednesday 10 December. There will be a Christmas dinner at 5.30 pm. Please let Heather Campbell know if you plan to attend.
Then the meeting will begin at 7.00 pm. Santa Claus will visit - if you wish to participate, bring a wrapped gift with a value up to $10.00 that has something to do with quilting.
